The mission of the Ambassadors Emancipation Homes, Inc. (known also as A.E.H.)
is to guide homeless, at-risk and troubled youth through turbulent times. Our philosophy and approach is to offer to these individuals an opportunity to receive housing assistance, counseling, permanent and transitional services from their hopeless, homeless situations to a happy, loving, healthy and stable environment. We assist with locating affordable housing, purchasing, development and financial credit counseling.
A SAFE HARBOR AND FRIENDLY HAVEN
The Ambassadors Emancipation Homes Incorporated Youth in Transition Program prepares eligible foster-care teens for independent living. It provides educational support, job training, independent living skills training, chemical dependency, self-esteem counseling, and other programs and support to equip teens with educational, vocational, and psychological skills to function as independent adults. The program also provides subsidized job placement, pre-employment training, and job training for these youth.
The Ambassadors Emancipation Homes Incorporated Shelter provides a safe environment for homeless youth ages 14-25, and their children. The goal of our board, staff, and volunteers is to build relationships with the young adults by providing interim to permanent housing, case management, and aftercare services that will help them achieve self-sufficiency.
