 PROJECT

LET ALL MANKIND BE

SHELTERED

As I sat and watched television in the comfort of my home the program I was watching sparked a flame in my heart it was called, The Animal Planet.

I was watching the program involving the Humane Society tracking down and targeting individuals who were cruel to animals. These individuals were cited, handcuffed, imprisoned and made spectacles for their mistreatment of animals. Normally I watch this show casually and sympathize with the handlers who deal with these cases and with the poor ill-fated animals that they so often rescue from horrible circumstances. Many of these animals are strays and have been left to their own fate. These animals don’t get bathed, cared for, or properly cleaned. Some I would go so far to say as have not been spoken to kindly or have ever received appropriate shelter. Far too many are left to die a terrible undeserved death.

Isn’t it amazing how our society cares for animals more than humans? We can see the same type of abuse happening to our fellow brother and sister and turn a blinded eye. We think cruel thoughts of the homeless person on the corner sitting in the rain, when often they have no place to go. The United States Veterans; many are wounded warriors forgotten and left like those animals unable to escape their own crisis. We are afraid to offer assistance, food, clothing or even a kind word to a dirt-covered person standing in front of a grocery store asking for help. Maybe it requires just a little direction and a smile; what about the giving of an apple or an orange that doesn’t cost you very much.

All mankind deserves shelter. Our Children and our Veterans do not deserve to be homeless. Our future generations should not be living on the streets like wild animals. Many of these individuals have no love, no care, and no options. My heart say’s save the Children too, save the LAMBS. We must reach them while they are yet able to be helped. Help them, embrace them before they become feral or savage and must be destroyed for time is the enemy of all in despair.

Our goal with the L.A.M.B.S. Project is to save the precious lambs before they become wild and hopeless. Our target population is the Emancipated and Homeless youth in transition and youth or teens in despair and their babies. We care deeply for our Veterans as well. We must start somewhere, we know we cannot do it all but we may be able to inspire others to form a focus on humans like they have on animals. This is our life journey we must open our eyes to see the Animal Planet but just as important or more the Human Planet. Save our people from destruction.

Our Affordable Permanent Housing Program and housing development and construction plan is a human survival project and the name says it all L.A.M.B.S., which again stands for LET ALL MANKIND BE SHELTERED.

Sincerely,
